Booking Procedure:
- Reservations can be made online: https://glassowinetours.com,by phone: 905.541.6363, or by email: amanda.glassowinetours@gmail.com
- To secure your TOUR date, a $50 non-refundable booking deposit is required and is not applied to your tour balance. The booking client is responsible for payment.
- To secure your VEHICLE / DRIVER-FOR-HIRE, a $50 non-refundable booking deposit is required and will be applied to your tour balance. A minimum hourly service charge applies for weekend hire.
- To secure your customized ITINERARY, a $50 non-refundable flat rate is required, payable prior to your itinerary being sent. Reservations are made on your behalf and will be invoiced, payable immediately upon invoicing. The booking client is responsible for payment.
- By submitting your trip reservation with your online Booking Deposit, you are confirming that you have read and understood the cancellation policy and are in full agreement with the terms laid out.
- Full payment for a tour booking is required 7-days prior to the trip departure date.
- Pay methods accepted: all major credit cards, debit transaction, e-transfers, and cash. *The individual booking the trip is ultimately responsible for full payment.
- Trips are not confirmed until you receive an email confirmation or written correspondence by Glass O’ Wine Tours.
- All trips go RAIN or SHINE! Trip cancellations are at the call of Glass O’ Wine Tours or by the call of the venue. You are advised to check the extended weather forecast and if you have any concerns or hesitations about taking a trip and the weather for your trip date is not co-operating, we recommend rescheduling.
- Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Cancellation Policy:
- Refunds are issued given a 48-hour weekday cancellation notice on Mon-Thurs bookings, minus booking deposit, minus any transaction fees charged to Glass O’ Wine Tours.
- Refunds are issued, given a 14-day weekend cancellation notice on Friday, Saturday and Sunday bookings, minus booking deposit, minus any transactions charged to Glass O’ Wine Tours.
- Cancellation is required in writing by email to amanda.glassowinetours@gmail.com
- No refunds are given to any seats left empty by ‘no-shows’ or by last minute cancellations within 48-hour of notice.
- No refund are given for any part of the trip missed.
- 100% refunds are given, including booking deposit, cancelled by Glass O’ Wine Tours, or by the call of the visiting venues due to 1. inclement weather, 2. due to any unforeseen circumstances not predicted or expected, and 3. trip cancellation affected by COVID-19. *option to reschedule tour date.
Pick-up & Drop-off Times:
- Scheduled times are set based on your chosen tour package and location of pick-up, taking into consideration loading and unloading of passengers and travel times between venues. To allow more relaxing time for tastings, itinerary locations and times are selected to minimize travel time as much as possible. The tour bus will arrive at the scheduled pick-up time and request you be ready 10 minutes prior.
- If you are staying at an establishment, please make yourself present in the main doors/lobby so the Tour Operator can locate you easily. If you have not been picked up by 15 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time, please call our business number immediately at 905-541-6363 so you can be advised of any potential unforeseen delays.
On the day of your trip:
- All trips run on a pre-booked schedule. Glass O’ Wine Tours makes all venue reservations and advises all the visiting venues of any arrival time delays.
- To enhance the experience of all our clients, your Tour Operator is with you for the entire duration and will always be available to meet your needs with any concerns or issues.
- To ensure the days agenda runs on time, your Tour Operator will give you a 10-minute announcement when leaving each location so that you have time to make any purchases to stay on schedule. Glass O’ Wine Tours requests that all guests are respectful of your days agenda to ensure the enjoyment of all the guests in your group.
- Standard wine tasting reservation times are normally 30min time slots; extended times for private tour reservations are based on individual venue policies. We do not like to rush our guests, Glass O’ Wine Tours allows extended time for you to enjoy retail browsing, photo taking, bathroom visits and a walk-around venue grounds.
- For tours that book to include a luncheon option, Glass O’ Wine Tours will allocate 1.5-2 hours for a lunch reservation at your participating site (Tour pricing omits luncheon fees).
Changes in schedules, delays, or trip operations:
- Glass O’ Wine Tours reserves the right to change the itinerary booking planned for visitation and without notice should any unforeseen circumstances arise. All reasonable efforts will be made to honour the originally communicated plan.
- You are responsible to monitor emails from Glass O’ Wine Tours made to the address provided on the online reservation for updates in the lead up to your booking date.
Personal property & item purchases:
- By participating in the activities organized by Glass O’ Wine Tours, you accept that any personal property left in any vehicle, or at any location throughout the trip can only be returned (should it be found) at the sole expense of the guest. Glass O’ Wine Tours is not responsible for any lost or damaged property throughout the duration of the trip.
- We ask all our guests to check they have all their personal items and correct purchases at the end of the trip before exiting the vehicle. Any missing items/purchases will not be replaced.
Personal vehicle property of Glass O’ Wine Tours:
- Any damages made by travelling passengers to the vehicle property owned by Glass O’ Wine Tours will undertake full responsibility and loss of repair costs.
- Travelling passengers will be responsible for the cost of any necessary cleaning due to ill-health during the tour duration e.g., vomiting, and will be done by hiring of a professional car detailing service.
- Passengers travelling with pets take full responsibility for any pet ‘mishaps or accidents’ that may be caused by the vehicle environment during travel. Professional car cleaning services will be charged to the Owner.
Code of Conduct & Tour Policy:
- Please review the Liability Waiver and Indemnity Agreement for Glass O’ Wine Tours.
- The goal of Glass O’ Wine Tours is for all passengers to have fun and enjoy their day. Wine tours are educational experiences; learning about the science of beer, spirits and wine production from the experts. We ask that you respect the environment you are in and appreciate the beautiful settings, not to mention taste some amazing local award-winning wines and beers!
- Glass O’ Wine Tours asks that passengers be respectful of other guests in their group, along with patrons of all the venues we may be visiting.
- Glass O’ Wine Tours has the right and responsibility to protect clients’ safety and reserves the right to eliminate situations during trips that may encumber on client safety.
- Glass O’ Wine Tours reserves the right to ask any individual/s disrupting a trip to modify their behaviour, and in certain situations have the right to remove any individual/s, or whole group, from the trip. In the instance of an individual/s is removed from the trip, the individual/s will be offered an alternative safe return to the original scheduled drop-off location, and at their own cost.
- CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL: To comply with provincial Laws, consuming alcohol in motor vehicles is not legal. Thus, consuming alcohol during the tour duration will not be permitted and strictly enforced. At the discretion of the Tour Guide, Glass O’ Wine Tours reserves the right to refuse anyone to board the vehicle that is overly intoxicated and/or is refused service at any venue.
Gift Cards
- E-gift cards and hard copy gift cards can be purchased online: https://glassowinetours.com/gift-certificate, email: amanda.glassowinetours@gmail.com, or by telephone: 905.541.6363.
- Gift cards can be mailed by request to the purchaser, or directly to the recipient.
- Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and without expiry and can be applied to pay in part or whole towards a tour.
- A gift card cannot be used for the $50 non-refundable Booking Deposit.
